Frédéric Cochés doesn’t believe too much in Wagners prophets and heroes and wishes to return Wagners stories to their primitive and grotesque origin. Scenes are added, characters disappear, lines grow, details fade, others bubble up, and an amputated, abandoned and deceived half-goddess decides to upset the plans of the gods and men. Brynhildr is the story of this woman, told by Frédéric Coché in 72 etchings.
