During the first year after the birth of her son, Marion, the author of this book, produced a series of drawings about motherhood. Her images accumulate, question her, move her, help her, and send her child souvenirs of her transformation into a mother.

Through drawings, sometimes funny, sometimes tender, but always powerful, this book tells us as never before about the complexity of the process of becoming a mother, of building a relationship with a child, and of her coming into the world.
